~ ~ ~ Notes from Paper Lane: a GNE weblog |
Thanks to Abulafia, we now have a paperlane.net zeitgeist! It’s updated every hour on the half hour. Thanks, Abu!
I’m a big fan of public info & data visualization… combine the two and all I have to say is this: YAY!
[see here and here for my “zeitgeists”… updated less regularly tho]
Weird: games played in harems
Predictable: mmorpg, gay
Thought provoking (an issue in tbg?): what is intelligent city growth
:)
retsyn?
Leisure suits?
Very nice overall… :)
I could have gone my entire life not needing to know someone looked up loli peeing o.o
These are really worrying me…
‘yeoz’ next to ‘anarchist cookbook’ *I always wondered about hir*
‘games with monsters in it and people online with u and u can fight each other’ *pause to draw breath*
‘Miss Captivity pageant’ *errr well I am not too worried by this, better check it out though.. just in case ;)*
While a little nonplussed at the variety of ‘loli’ googles (someone in Germany, double A), the zeitgeist is a facinating read. (Who googled my address?) Kudos to Selva & Abulafia!
To help cure your nonplussment, Loli, I’d imagine that “loli” isn’t very googleable, being very short and common. Except for maybe the “inspoetica loli” search. ;)
Shouldn’t we work together to get “uifz gay” on there in big letters?
You done it OldTasty, you gol’ darn gone and done it! The tribe has spoken.
“Its okay that im gay” “rice strange” “someone really gets you” ….. heh :) I think its GREAT! Yay for technology!! :)
Now here’s an interesting bit of self-referential goop: when you google any of the terms you find in the GNE zeitgeist, one of the references you receive is to … the GNE zeitgeist! Ouch, my head is hurting…
