GNE got a mention in today’s Webmonkey newsletter (also posted on the site).

Shame they got the plug right before they pull the plug… ‘til the big game.

Anyone ever play this “there.com” game? My first reaction: It seems kind of funny to pick a non-Google-able name for a new product. My second reaction: If I wanted to go shopping, drive an SUV, etc. I’d do it in real life :)

I signed up for the beta, but there were errors on each of the signup pages (sometimes multiple errors per page, like “can’t parse css”). I suspect they’re way over their head for any sort of complex game if they can’t put together a robust signup process.

Also, my kickass iMac would have to be “upgraded” in order to meet the minimum requirements of the game, so Feh!

It’s just GNE for me. It’s the only game that’s worthy playing the way I play it - perpetually.
