Let me pose this question to anyone who cares to take a swipe at it - will there be a deliniation between those who achieved their level 12 status and continue to play fo the sicial and enabling aspects early and those who are the “next generation” Level 12s? In other words, will the little world of GNE develop and old money/new money split?

I hope not, I like the non-competitive, cooperative aspects too much to want a split like that!

Where you you put the dividing line between old and new money? Do you assume the urge to philanthropy would not thrive in newer 12s?

(Maybe I’m a bit touchy about this since I just reached level 12 today… yay me!)

In relation to the “real” game I think everyone basically will start off with level footing (no pun intended).

As for the present state of GNE, there is a fairly discernable split between new money and old money. Just look at the high score boards.

Most of the top 5 are new money folks, acquiring their position through well…a big fat bug. The “lower” or other 5 on the top 10 are mostly “old money” folks, who gained their position mainly through lots of “clicking.”

Other than that, I don’t think there are any actual/discernible socio-economic splits.

Should there be? That’s for each one to decide :). GNE - “It is what you make of it” Personally I’d prefer not be in either, though by current definitions I am as old as old money gets.
